LK09 V Silverdale JFC

This was LK09’s first game after winning the cup and they displayed some superb passing moves and play to confirm what they had achieved.LK09 kept Silverdale in their own half for most of the first half. The passing and work rate payed  off and Harvey scored a cracking goal.LK09 were given a freekick Keane steps up and sends it in the box  for Harvey to get on the end of it and score again.Chances coming in for Keane,Matty and Tom’s attempt just goes over the crossbar.Silverdale try to get the ball up the field but are soon back defending and Tom whips it in to score.Silverdale pick themselves up and have a shot on goal.Second half Silverdale come out more positive putting pressure on our defenders to get their first goal.Silverdale have the bit between their teeth but we keep on challenging.Attempt from Harvey,Allan and Tom great effort but just couldn’t score.A Silverdale strike sends it over the line for a goal.Well done lads a gutsy and determind performance.Well played.

Man of the match Harvey

LK09 V Lane Head

After the first game spirits were high but we soon came crashing down to earth.Lane Head scored and kept on scoring,we had some chances but couldn’t turn them into goals.Heads went down and souls destroyed.Well done to Lane Head.We lost with dignity but will pick ourselves up and learn from this.Lads don’t take anything for granted and don’t get complacent,we’ve had a winning streak but still need to focus on the job ahead.

Man of the match Logan
