The LK09 boys were up for this local derby with the Panthers and in no way did it disappoint.The Panthers applied the pressure from the off,with LK09 defending well and closing them down.A first half penalty to the Panthers finds the back of the net and puts them infront.Attempts on goal from Harvey,Matty and Keane but were well saved by the Panthers keeper.More goals to come from the Panthers but LK09 showed courage and bravery on the pitch.The lads can hold their heads high,a good performance all round.Well done lads.
Wyrley LK09 Vs Four Oaks Scorpions
LK09 got off to a slow start following the game with the Panthers but soon found the strength they needed.A corner for Four Oaks pit us under pressure in the box,but all heads to the rescue preventing the ball from going in.Goals for Four Oaks in the first half but LK09 didn’t give up.Second half LK09 came out with fighting spirit,showing grit and determination.With the excitement rising, LK09 claw back the goals with 2 super goals from Harvey including 1 from a Keane corner.Luke scored with a belter to bring the tally up to 3.LK09 lose,but fantastic game to watch.Good work lads,keep on battling.
