After losing a tightly fought contest with Gt Barr Harriers, Panthers were determined not to lose any further points against Blakenhall Harriers. Panthers flew out of the blocks & took an early lead with Ben Malpass notching his 6th goal of the season. Panthers looked in complete control with MotM Jamie Wilson & his days partner in crime Jack Miller-Flynn looking more than comfortable at the back. Panthers extended their lead a short time later when for the second week in succession Jack Miller-Flynn lashed a hard low drive into the bottom corner to notch his second goal of the season.
Only one team were ever going to win this contest from now on & although Harriers pulled one back to make it 2-1 Panthers soon restored their 2 goal lead after Thomas Williamson vollyed home for his 6th of the season, from another precision cross by Kaine Garratt.
Panthers took their foot off the gas towards the end of the game allowing Harriers to gain a further consolation goal. Tight defending by both Harry Richards & Sam Hadwen ensured that Panthers would take all 3 points on this occassion.
