Another great team performance for both our remaining games. Great start for the boys, This game started extremely well for the Panthers, who played some superb attacking football. Captain Joshua Lester broke the dead lock first with a cracking run beating two defenders then hammered it into the back of the net!. Wilson Cooper and Liam Banks showed some truly amazing tackling and pressing in the centre of the field. Joshua Lester got awarded a free kick from half way into there half, Liam Banks stood up to take and smashed it into there net. 2-0 at halftime. This game was a tale of two halfs as Sutton United pressed the Panthers, but the Panthers showed some solid defensive play from Fraser Simms, Ryan Jones, and Vinnie Jones and stopped most of Sutton United attacks. Sutton United were awarded a penalty half way into the second half and scored 2-1. Panthers Ryan Jones was unlucky after making a great run down the left and hitting the post. Sutton United then scored a very good goal direct from a corner kick finishing the game 2-2. Panthers were unlucky not to win this game, but showed masses amount of resilience and quality. WELL DONE BOYS! you were amazing.
