Well it seems that every time Panthers Under 9’s face Handsworth we have some of our worst defeats!! But not so this week…
With the boys looking fantastic in their new strip all thanks to Dayne, Panthers put up a tremendous battle against Handsworth United. With some excellent defence by Damian the first half was ended at 0 – 0 filling the Panthers with confidence. Unfortunately 2 goals early into the second half proved too much for Panthers to pull back, but an excellent effort was made by all.
Many thanks to Josh’s Dad for standing in for the ref on the second match & donating his earnings to the team.
Man of the match this week went to Damian for his excellent work in defence.
Donna will be doing a car-boot sale in order to raise funds for the team, so if you have anything she can sell, please bring it to training on Thursday 7pm – 8pm Chase Terrace Technology College

Getting closer and closer to that elusive first win – well done boys! Keep battling and the rewards will come!
