First game of the season and the panthers were raring to go at goals Darlaston, Willenhall starting strongly against our first opponents. The boys got stuck in straight away and soon took control of the pitch passing very well and getting a couple of good chances early on . Ryan then broke the dead lock with a great half volley on goal 1 nil to the panthers after 5 minutes.
The boys kept on pressing hard and they were awarded a free kick on 11 minutes which joshie coolly back healed the ball into the net..
Again the boys did not let up and on 12 minutes after hard work and a great pass from josh across the goal mouth Fraser scrambled the ball into the net. The panthers team continued to test the opposition’s keeper with some great strikes, panthers midfield players linking up to perfection and producing brilliant passing through the thirds to create great opportunities. All our great offensive play was supported with rock solid defending which gave massive confidence throughout the games. Our keeper Lukas had very little to do, is a testament of how to defend and support when needed.
Second half panthers came close several times but could not find the net our opposition defended very well.

Second game
Panthers second was against a team who has developed very well of late.
Panthers again started well and pushed on battling against a defensive side. The boys struggling to break them down until Richie on 8 minutes managed to get the ball at his feet and run at there defence and scoring a great goal .
Again the boys battled on but could not find the net again and showing at times the great link up play they do in training.

Well done boys today in both matches, fantastic team effort
Managers man of the match Ryan Jones

Proud to be panthers
