The Mens 1st Team began their pre – season campaign with an excellent 2-0 victory against Stafford Town who play in a Division higher.

Wyrley had the better of the first half and deservedly lead at the break thanks to 2 well taken goals from new signing Scott Sjoerdsma. Wyrley then made 9 changes at the break and although Stafford had the wind as an advantage, Wyrley continued to play the better football throughout.

A fantastic effort from all involved and Wyrley will hope to continue this good start when they entertain Red Star Alma on Tuesday night at The Long Lane Ground.
