Tigers v Sedgley Scorpions .

The Tigers were looking to improve on a dip a in performance last week which saw the unbeaten run end at fifteen games. Having not played the Scorpions this season the boys were encouraged to push on from the off and test the opponents defensive resolve. This proved to be a good move with Cole Askey, Joe Rodda and Aran Poonian stringing passes together well providing striker Tom Sutton with several chances, four of which were taken with the usual power we have become used to from Tom. A very good fist half from the Tigers ended with a very positive scoreline. The second half was a more relaxed affair with the Tigers attempting to control the game through good posession and high tempo pressing. The fifth and final goal came again from Tom Sutton after relentless pressure from the Tigers which could have resulted in several more goals. Armaan Sohi and Joe Rodda came closest to adding to the score. Cole Askey had very positive influence once again with his astute passing and quick feet. Well done Tigers a fine performance, possibly the best all season !!!

Tigers v Tipton Town

The Tigers second game today was against Tipton Town who we recently played getting a deserved victory on that occasion. This was a tighter match but again the Tigers looked like the more productive side creating chances with the the ball being moved through the team, Joe Timmins efforts in training showing positive results with his distribution from goal starting several attacks. The Tigers got the rewards they deserverd when Armaan Sohi bagged a brace through good awareness and cool finishing. The second half was a tight ten minutes with the Tigers never looking in any real danger of letting go of the game. A good response from every single player this week with each of them contributing well in a good team performance.

Man of the Match today went to Tom Sutton, not only for the five goals he scored but for his contribution as a whole having put in a rock solid display at the back in the second game. Well done Tom !!!

A big well done to all the boys who played today: Joe T, Scott, Lewis, Brad, Aran, Armaan, Joe R, Cole and Tom
