With Pre season over and months of team bonding and hard work the season has finally arrived with 7 Talented young lads straight out of the Wyrley Juniors Youth academy.

Our first game of the season started against sedgley sporpians east at shelfield sports academy, We started off the game very well with tremendous play from our boys passing and moving into space just like how we have been learning during our training sessions. During a tough 5 minutes we knuckled down and worked hard but some amazing goal keeping kept it close and some courageous tackles. After the break we got our heads back on and got back to the passing game we look to be very good at.

Goal scorers – Charlie Ashley Footes – 3, James Evans – 2 and William Dorricott -1

Man of the Match – Joseph Plimmer

Our second game of the season and day was against Cresswell Allstars, this scoreline does not do our pumas justice as we missed chance after chance but that never got the lads down and we still passed it around great together once again as a team. with another outstanding perfoemnce from our backline and goalkeeper we managed to keep the scores against us low.

Goal Scorers – Charlie Ashley Footes – 1

Man of the match – Bray Makin

We have done amazing on our first weekend as a team and proud of team, We look forward to the season with such a great club and with the help of a great bunch of parents behind me i cannot wait also.
