This weekend we started the next 4 weeks of games against a strong Sedgley Scorpions east who had some great talent on show, before the game we knew we needed a good start to this monthly period and it couldn’t have started better with some outstanding movement from James Evans to put us ahead. With the game going so well sedgley continued to keep there heads high and pushed and managed to grab an equalizer which took us by surprise but i couldn’t ask for anything less from the boys as that first game we shone and people not involved in the game commented on how well they pass the ball together and work as a unit as well as having fun as friends.

Goal Scorers.      James Evans – 1

Man of the Match – James Evans

Our Second game of the day was against Lane Head Lions which i can only explain this in 1 word and that is WOW!!!! And that is for the Lane head Pumas Goalkeeper who was out of this world for a under 7. Enough bigging up the opposition and lets tell the story, firstly we started just as we planned with full on attacking style with also a solid back line of defence, we pushed from the start and managed to grab a few goals, I know it’s always nice to bang goals in but the vision and skill from William Dorricott to see the movement of players making runs was tremendous and this proved vital in the score line with Charlie Ashley Footes causing chaos as usual and James Evans making space for the others to create. With all great teams though you need good defence and with our outstanding form I have to say again that Robert in goal, Karam Poonian, Joey Plimmer and Bray Makin (tackling warriors)are what make our forward line have to opportunities to attack in such force. The Pumas were outstanding again today and we are aiming for that xmas team of the month tropthy.

WELL DONE PUMAS

(next match report for xmas  I will give  full stats of goal scorers, clean sheets ect, last month we scored close to 40 goals and only conceded 5 and i would like to show our appreciation to the future players of wyrley juniors Pumas as all 7 of our lads have the potential to go far)
