Wyrley Tigers certainly appeared to be the stronger team as they played Hednesford Town on Sunday 11th October.

With most of the match being played in Hednesford’s half, the Tigers showed great formation.

Connor made a brilliant goalkeeper for the Tigers this week & the superb goal by Elliott in the second half meant the Tigers walked away with a 1 – 0 victory.

For the second match the Tigers played Creswell Colts.

An excellent save by Creswell’s goalkeeper prevented the Tigers scoring from a free kick in the first half.

Matthew demonstrated some fine goalkeeping skills but Creswell appeared to have the upper hand throughout the first half & finished the first half 2 – 0 up.

The second half saw the Tigers come out with their usual fighting spirit & with Elliott scoring a goal for the Tigers, a more even match was played through to the end.

Unfortunately the Tigers couldn’t quite pull back the second goal they needed to make it a drawer & finished the match, Creswell Colts 2 Tigers 1.

Don’t forget, training will take place in Cheslyn Hay Leisure Centre Sports Hall 1pm – 2pm Saturday. Trainers & shin pads will be required.
