Week 12, under 7 pumas – close but no cigar!!!!

With our final 2 weeks of games before the xmas break we was ready and waiting for whomever they put in front of us and with confidence still high from the previous 6 weeks who could stop us. WELL Holy name came and conquered within 5 minutes from the very first whistle, At the break we was down 4-1 and without our goalkeeper and a squad rotation helping us out we got back on track and kept the game to a minimum. The scorline doesn’t do our lads justice in this game with Bray smashing the bar and some great saves from their goalkeeper, Well Done HOLY NAME for breaking our tremendous winning streak and scoring 4 goals past us which wehad only conceding in the entire last month.

Our Second game of the day was against wednesfeild Aces who we know have the quality to open games up and counter just as we do ourselves. With a past result of a loss of 3-0 we knew what we was up against and I couldn’t be more prouder than the performance every player on the pitch shown, with decisions not going our way we knuckled down to keep the game to 1-1 but with some unlucky challenged and deflections wednesfield aces got the winner in the last minute of time. I’m sure we will see these again very soon and hopefully get the win.
Looks like it back to training on Tuesday to get the confidence booming again for next week.
