by footesy on Nov.02, 2014, under Match Reports, Under 12s Pumas 19/20
Well Well Well what a difference a week’s rest and 2 weeks of poor performances make. Today we kicked of the new friendly Group stages with new teams and I couldn’t have asked for a better start, With a New formation and new tactics our talented bunch of lads seem to have learnt and learnt and got better and better. with everything we learn on the training pitch showing how good we can be we showed how we stick together as a team and work hard for each other.
Ashley Footes – 4 James Evans – 5 Karam Poonian – 1
Man of the Match – William Dorricott
Our second game of the day was a real nail biter with a team we are very familiar with, we knew we couldn’t stand off which we did but as from the game before we kept working away together and finally got something good from the game. With great work from both teams it was a very even game. With players being friends from school it was bragging rights at stake and we all know even 7 years olds will be at school tomorrow winding each other up. As a coach from the Academy I’m very proud to say that both teams were excellent and it could have gone either way. All the players on the pitch should be very proud despite the result.
Goal scorers – Charlie Ashley Footes – 3 William Dorricott – 1
Man of the Match – Robert Switz
I would like to say a big thank you to keith hardy for the excellent work he puts in with the Goalkeeper training as our Goalkeeper has improved and possibly won us the game today with his composer from an under pressure pass back and also a finger tip save at the end of the game.
