It has to be said that this result was a fair reflection of the game.  To the spectator the highlight was the final whistle.  Neither the pitch or the ball helped wyrley to play their usual passing game, add to that the facts that they all had hard games sat and key players missing a draw was a fair result.

Withymoor scored on the stroke of half time and 55 mins saw the ball hit Leanne and bounce past the keeper.   Lauren made a few saves but the only spectacular shot that went in was right in the top corner.  Kirsty, Cath, Charlie and Kelly battled well in defence,  Chelsea, Emily, Tash and Vikki tried to contain the midfield and Leanne and Rachel chased the ball down well.  Sub Gemma replaced Rachel and tried to find a way past the solid defence.

Home to Silverdale in the county cup next Sun 1.30 kick off.
