LK09 v Bloxwich Rangers

This was a fast pace game (probably helped by the wind !).  There was an early attempt by Matty but the whole game was to remain  goalless for both teams.  Despite there being no goals the lads passed well even though there were a few knocks to their legs.  Excellent save by goalie Logan from a free kick by Rangers.  The second half started off slow but within minutes the lads were back into their passing.  Harry was keeping his opponent  on his toes by running up and down while waiting for a corner.  Just proves we are keeping our eye on the other team !

LK09 v Bentley Community

By now the wind had picked up considerably and it felt like the ball was more off the pitch than on because of this ! A pass by Harvey to Tom (W) from the midway line nearly secured our first goal and Tom again nearly had a goal from a free kick.  There were lots of opportunities but Bentley were to secure the first goal in the first half.  In the second half there was lots of great passing and you could see the lads were determined to secure a goal before the game was over.  This attitude was rewarded with a goal by Luke (He’s first goal, well done).  Luke did a well earned celebration run.

Two great games played on a very windy day.  Well done to all the lads.
