The All New Wyrley Colts faced a team from their old club, Wednesfield, in their first ever meeting – a prequel to their cup match at Bilston Town on 10 March.

The Colts brought the match to Wednesfield Wolves which saw the whole of Wednesfield FC turn out to witness this 1-1 draw.

The Colts passing game proved very difficult for Wednesfield to handle with Colts scoring in the first 10 minutes. the Colts continued pressing the Wednesfield end, peppering the goal with shots and hitting the woodwork several times.

Wednesfield equalised after a Colts corner , though this didn’t deter the Colts from piling even more onto the Wednesfield half. The Colts showed true composure and character and did their team and Wyrley Juniors very proud against the pure numbers of  Wednesfield spectators pitchside. the wednesfield manager congratulated The Colts and said they were the stronger team

Wyrley Colts second thriller saw strong opposition from New Park Village. The Colts came out all guns blazing against a very strong NPV side whose fair play and strong work ethic wasn’t enough enough to beat a slick and overwhelming Wyrley side who won 3-0.

Another awesome performance from the award winning Wyrley Colts!
