Wyrley Colts made headline news again this week after maintaining their lead at the top of the Paycare Bilston Partnership Youth Football League.

The Express & Star’s junior football supplement “Parklife” reported the Wyrley Colts 6-0 win over Willenhall Colts. Some very slick passing and constant attacking play saw Wyrley take their second successive win over Willenhall’s newest recruits.

Wyrley Colts fortunes changed when they lost their first ever match this seasonĀ 2-0 to Bentley Youth, with the Colts trying everything to get balls through to goal, but with Bentley’s long-ball-over-the-top-approach, they just couldn’t convert.

Overall, a great weekend of football, with even more press coverage from Wyrley Colts showing the rest of the football world how to “Compete and Enjoy!”
