Wyrley Colts finished their Bilston League North Division campaign in third place after their final two matches.

Having lead the division for most of the season, Wyrley tamed the Wednesfield Lions and held them to a 1-1 draw in a match that saw the Colts dominate for 25 of the 30 minutes.

Their second match saw a fitting end to their campaign against fellow charity fundraisers Willenhall Colts. Wyrley maintained a 100% record against Willenhall witha 7-0 win over a massively-improved Willenhall side. Wyrley did look close to conceding twice, but for the efforts of the Wyrley defence.

We’re all very proud of the team and looking forward to next week’s cup matches ahead of 2011’s League placements…….
