The Warriors were back in action today after snow stopped play last week☃

Our games today were against FC Premier & Sutton United Panthers.

The Warriors were a bit slow out of the blocks today, (maybe it was the early start), an early goal by FC Premier knocked the Warriors out of their stride, then a couple more quickly followed. Suddenly though we woke up, the Warriors started to fight back, spearheaded by Lewis, with a great run taking on a couple of players and a cracking finish, just as we were getting in our groove the ref blew for half time, then it was all change.

A much better 2nd half performance our urgency was back, 1st to the ball, big tackles loads of running and energy from Hayden & Jack, great team work. Our hard work rewarded with a great goal from Cole, and of course he celebrated with his usual front flip.

Match 2, was against Sutton United Panthers, or should I say the Giants! Theses boys had certainly had their Weetabix. However it was great to see the Warriors wasn’t intimidated by their size, the lads battled from the off. Great work rate from Jake who wanted to stretch his legs after a great performance in goal in the first game. Alfie & Carter putting in the big tackles with Isaac showboating his skills and vision with his passing.
There was a big shout out to our goal keeper in this game Harry. Some massive saves, a couple at point blank, he really kept us in the game well done H you were awesome.
