Our campaign began today at a new venue ,Walsall campus of Wolverhampton Uni . The Warriors fielded a near complete team and played 2  games .

In the first half of our match against Cresswell, Wyrley had much of the possession and a couple of attempts on goal but defensive errors  allowed Cresswell to score .However skilful goalkeeping by Cole kept Cresswell at bay until Harry scored after working hard throughout . Lewis in goal in the second half once again saved the day and Cole and Jack came close to scoring .

Against Norton , in the first half , Harry worked hard in goal. Hayden began the pressure on the opposition with a good run which led to a corner and Jack only just missed a goal . Inevitably  Norton began to give way and Carter only missed out on the score sheet when the Norton defender put the ball in his own net . Lewis then added to the Warriors’ tally and after a goal mouth mele , Hayden made it three . Norton recovered in the second half and Alfie had to work hard in defence to prevent  Norton scoring goals .

The coach awarded Harry and Alfie ,Warriors’ man of the match . The team will now work on passing the ball more effectively.
