Dragons played host to Shire Oak Saints today. With both teams only fielding 10 players all started off well considering the bad weather conditions with dragons building on strong play although it was Shire Oak Saints got there first scoring the first goal of the match . Dragons didn’t let that bother them though and kept their heads in the game with Dom and Liam H doing some good tackling and Liam R going close hitting the post from one shot on goal but it just wasn’t enough to stop shire oak going on to score another two goals in the first  half of the game. The second half of the game started off well with some good tackling from both sides even though the weather got quite bad and with Dragons putting pressure onto Shire Oak went on to score there first goal by Dom. Liam R went on to score a second goal for the Dragons and it looked like they might get something from the game. Tom F did some good work alongside Moggy to try and keep the ball and save the game but shire oak went on to score another two goals bringing the final score to 5-2 .Well done lads keep up the good work some bad luck denied you another couple of goals and the result could of been different, keep your heads up.
