WYRLEY JUNIORS GIRLS U15’s Weekend match reports

  WYRLEY JUNIORS 2 v 0  ERDINGTON

Wyrley worked the hardest of the two teams but never really hit there best form in this encounter, Wyrley created several chances in the first half and it was Lucy Wells who we thought had opened the scoring from close range, however a contentious flag from the Erdington linesman, disallowed the effort. Wyrley got there patience rewarded soon after when Lizzie Scoines finished from close range. The second half saw Wyrley using there passing game more, Abi Hall was a constant threat down the right, Wells was unlucky again in the second half when Erdingtons keeper came off her line well, Scoines helped make the game safe for Wyrley when she neatly controlled the ball and laid it of to Alicia Baker whose fierce left foot shot gave the keeper no chance. Jordan Parker was assured in the Wyrley defence and was nominated man of the match.
