Wyrley Juniors u11s entertained Stafford Rangers Reds in their 1st game played  at the outstanding Long Lane facilities and a poor opening few minutes was soon forgotten when a neat move down the right involving jimmy Guest, jamie Hitchborne and Ethan Richardson found Jack Hems who smashed home to open the scoring, Wyrley were quickly into there stride with Jacob Gwilt and Adam Linnell combining well down the left and linked up well with the hard working Ben Lockley who toe poked home his first of his hattrick. Jack Hems grabbed his 2nd with Lockley beating the keeper after more fine plat through midfield. Adam Linnell forced the defender to put through his own net before half time . The lively Hayden Hall and Kai Reeve replaced Hems and Lockley and a number of chances were created with Ethan Richardson’s precise free kick kept out by a stunning save from the reds keeper. The 2nd half  saw Wyrley control the play with some incisive play and improved movement and Hayden Hall fired home from the edge of the box to extend the lead, Ben Lockley hit the bar shortly after returning to the action but didnt  have wait long before completing his treble . Jack Robinson had returned to the action and made some surging runs down the right and Kai Reeve tucked away an 8th with a controlled finish. A mistake from Reece Duckers resulted in a consolation for Stafford and Wyrley must expect a much tougher test next week when they start their Mjpl campaign with a home game against Hednesford Town
