CWGFL Division 1.

This was 80 minutes of excellent girls football served up by 2 teams wanting to play the game in the correct spirit. Unfortunately for Wyrley it was Wednesbury who took the points on this occasion as both teams shared good spells of possession. Wyrley just couldnt find the final pass today or test the Wednesbury keeper sufficiently, although credit must also be given to Wednesbury for defending so resolutely. Liz Scoines was Wyrley man of the match, playing the second half of the match in goal and performing well in midfield in the first half.
