WYRLEY JUNIORS U16’s Girls Weekend match report

COUNDON COURT 4 v 3 WYRLEY JUNIORS

A fierce end to end wind contributed in making this a game  a tough ordeal if you were defending against it, The defence which held more firm were going to come out on top and this proved to be the case, Wyrley uncharacteristically gave 4 goals away in the first half, some poor marking and indifferent defending contributing in gifting Coundon many of these goals. However the second half was a different story and Wyrley should have done better than score 3 goals without reply, many chances went begging but man of the match Kate Lawton 2 and Meg Titley 1 kept Wyrley in the game to the end. The first half proving to be Wyrleys undoing.
