U7s lions had a tough task with a depleted squad due to holidays so had no subs on a hot morning.
Sundays first game was against Cresswell wanderers
The two sides were evenly matched and lots of efforts by both teams. Lions continued their week by week improvement with great tackling by Isaac in defence . Charlie and Jacob both scored well taken goals. Jake worked hard upfront and was unlucky not to score himself.
The moment of the game was a fantastic goal line clearance from Charlie in the last minute of the game.
The Second game against Tipton
The lions came up against a really good team who passed very well and had a big size advantage. Jacob scoring his 2nd and 3rd of the morning. Arthurs goalkeeping again improves week by week .
