WYRLEY JUNIORS UNITED 1 v 2 BEACON COLTS
United started slowly in this game and were made to pay after ten minutes as Beacon opened the scoring with a well taken goal, United did create chances in this half but Tom Wheeldon, Sam Foremen, Lewis Hill and Louie Parish just couldn’t hit the target, Beacon competed well and went further ahead early in the second half very much against the run of play, United put in a sterling last fifteen minutes in this game, had a goal disallowed for offside, another goal ruled out eventually by the referee, before Tom Wheeldon got on the scoresheet. United tried hard for the last few minutes but couldn’t find that elusive strike.
