MATCH REPORT 20/11/11
FOUR OAKS PANTHERS 4 v 2 WYRLEY JUNIORS UNITED
Wyrley came up against a confident Four Oaks outfit in this league encounter and with a centre forward who could more than hold his own perhaps even at the highest level in this age group, he was a real handful for the Wyrley defence. Wyrley allowed Four Oaks far too much possession in the first twenty minutes, and went 1-0 down as a result, but from that point onwards began to get more and more into the game, however the first half ended with Wyrley one down. The first ten minutes of the second half United hit a purple patch, United reacted quickest to the loose ball and began to put some pressure of the Four Oaks defence, After forcing a couple of corners, Wyrley cashed in on one, a Sam Foreman delivery was met sweetly by hard working man of the match Louie Parish whose shot gave the Four Oaks keeper no chance, Wyrley took the lead, profiting from some good work by Elliot Crook and Louie Parish and then Lewis Hall adding the final touch. Four Oaks reacted well and with their centre forward on fire hit back with three good goals to run out 4-2 winners.
This was a tough game today however there are many positives to take away from it, the team are constantly improving and the players are a credit to Wyrley Juniors, keep up the hard work boys!
