Well after some ambivalent displays over the last few games, todays display was sensational!

Straight from kick off Wyrley showed their intent, the passing was great, the marking was brilliant and the team played the best ive seen this season.  20mins and Sophie danced her way round the defence and slotted the ball home 1-0.   Lauren in goal wasnt troubled very much with the defence of Jody, Kirsty, Kelly and Kath all making tremendous tackles and clearing up well.  33mins Sophie once again with the ball in the box and buried it in the bottom right of the net 2-0.  Midfielders Tash, Leanne, Chelsea and Emily were putting in some lovely balls for Sophie and Rachel to run on to, but Stafford made scoring difficult with some great defending and excellent keeping.

2nd half was a more evenly matched game with both sides cancelling each other out, and substitutions were made by both sides.  Sams first contribution was to give away a free kick on the halfway line, her second contribution was a 25yd shot that she drilled into the bottom left of the goal 3-0.   Vikki made some great runs down the wing and had several shots blocked.  82 mins Leanne picked up the ball on the halfway line and made a solo run through to the box where she nutmegged the keeper into the bottom right 4-0.  88mins Stafford were awarded a free kick 40yards out which they shot high over the wall and Lauren managed to get a hand to it and push it onto the bar, unfortunatly it rebounded onto her face and bobbled over the line,  sorry Loz 4-1.

All in all a terrific display, keep up the good work.
