First game today was against Wilkes Colts. The ground was harder due to the frost so the lads had to learn to adapt their ball control. Captain Harvey lead the team with excellent defending from Harry and Lewis. Luke took a shot at the goal but it was to remain no goals from both teams going into the second half. Matty who was sub came on to take the Captain role only to score the one and only goal of the game ! It was a fast moving game with some great set ups and passing from the lads.
Second game against Bentley Community was to be a tougher game than expected. Bentley only played with six players but they certainly put the pressure on us by scoring the first goal. By then we had regained our form and equalised with a goal from Keane. Bentley scored again but Harvey managed to equalise the score going into the second half. It was everything to play for from both teams and our determination was rewarded with the final goal from Matty ! Well done to all the lads.
