WYRLEY PANTHERS V WYRLEY PUMAS 05 02 11

Wyrley Panthers 6 – Wyrley Pumas 0

For some reason we always look forward to this game and in the first half it looked as though we were holding our own and the girls were playing superbly.   From what we saw we dominated the first half and kept the pressure on.  Panthers were awarded a free kick and if only our goalie was a bit taller we could have saved that goal.  Never mind we still kept going and fighting on.

The second half saw the Panthers put another 5 in the back of the net.   Our girls never gave up they kept their spirits up and kept fighting.  It is such a shame when we cannot put fresh legs onto the pitch.  At the end of the match all you could see were red faces which meant they had worked the best they could.   We did have a confidence boost from the referee who said that we had improved considerably since she last saw us and to keep fighting and we will get there.   We will keep on fighting and one day we will get there.
