WYRLEY PUMAS 3 v 0 CHASE STAGS

Stags surprised the Pumas for the first quarter of this match and worked hard to have an equal share of the possession, although neither keeper was really tested during this passage of play, Lucy Wells was first to strike for Pumas, coolly shooting into the bottom corner of the net after rounding the last defender,  Abi Hall was unlucky a few minutes later, the Stags keeper holding firm.

Pumas started the second half well, Hall raced clear and calmly fired Pumas second goal. Pumas began to put some passes together and a move started by Wells and then some good work down the left by Ilora Anderson, allowed Hall to score the best goal of the game, curling the ball into the corner of the net. Danni Biggs went close and Jaffa was solid in midfield, the Pumas defence held firm, Whitehouse, Foreman, Judson and Parker all contributing but it was Lauren Manton’s assured goalkeeping which won her Pumas man of the match.
