Pumas managed to reverse the result from an earlier meeting this season, but this game was far from easy for the Pumas. Both teams started brightly and played some good football without seriously threatening either goal. Lucy wells was bright throughout, and it was Wells who latched onto a through ball to confidently slot her finish into the corner of the net. Pumas tails were up, the strike from Wells giving them confidence to take charge of the game, Danni Biggs, Abi Hall and Jaffa were now getting a foothold in the game. Wells spun wide and her inch perfect cross gave Ilora Anderson the opportunity to score her first goal in the Pumas colours. Pumas ended the half two goals to the good.      The second half was just as competitive as the first, Wednesfield working hard to get into the game, Pumas trying equally as hard to keep them at bay, after the first few minutes Pumas won a corner, superbly delivered by Lauren Rolls , man of the match Biggs making contact with the ball found it drop nicely to her feet, she then coolly dispatched the ball into the net for Pumas third. Pumas still pushed for more goals, Wells struck a post and Anderson just failed to convert the rebound. Wednesfield still came forward, but Lauren Manton was solid between the sticks and was well supported through the game by Abby Judson, Ellie Whitehouse, Lauren Quinn and Pumas captain Jordan Parker to see the game out.
