Wyley Pumas 0 – Brereton Town 1  Semi Final

After not playing for a while due to bad weather and Christmas it was a tense time to be had by all.  Pumas got off to a shaky and slow start and within the first half Brereton scored.   Unfortunately due to a high leg kick we were landed with a penalty.   The whole pitch fell silent as Brereton stood to take the penalty.   What a save by our goalie C hloe who was also applauded by the Brereton managers for an excellent save.  Back to the game and the pumas had now started to put the pressure on which took us to half time.

In the second half you could see the sheer determination of the Puma girls to get a goal.  Jade tried so hard and could have easily put at least 5 goals into the net, if it wasn’t for Brereton’s good defence.  The game eventually turned into ping pong as the Pumas tried so hard to get a goal and Brereton kept up the defence.   Although we did not win the game itself was brilliant to watch, COME ON YOU PUMAS BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME, YOU CAN DO IT !!!!!

Managers player – Chloe Edmonds (goalie)

Parents player  – Jade Stringer
