Wyrley Tigers Vs Lane Head
The Tigers started this game full of confidence from winning their previous week’s games. Scott and Iron man Will were in defence passing the ball around with ease and determination. Kian and Aran, in midfield, were unstoppable taking players on and passing the ball round. Tom and Cole were on the wings again, firing crosses into the box for the lads to run onto.
It was only a matter of minutes before the ball found the back of Lane Head’s net, courtesy of a superb shot from Tom. A few minutes later Kian found himself with a shooting chance and boy did he hit it, straight past the keeper. The lads continued to keep their composure, passing the ball like mini professionals. Kian’s work rate was second to none, putting two more past Lane Head’s keeper and giving him a well-deserved hat trick.
The Tigers kept up the pressure with 4 more superb goals: one off Cole, Armaan and Aran and a well taken penalty by Joe. Lane Head managed to get a goal back but it was too little too late. The Tigers were just too good on the day.
Wyrley Tigers Vs Pelsall Villa Colts
The Tigers played Pelsall last week, beating them relatively easy. This week was a different story all together. The lads played brilliantly, keeping the pressure on. Iron man Will was determined as ever; scrambling for the ball in the box he managed to get a volley off and bang, straight into the back of the net – his first goal for the Tigers.
Pelsall tried their hardest to break through, getting a couple of chances on goal. However, our awesome keeper, Joe T, made sure nothing got past him. Lewis and Scott did a splendid job in defence. Kian and Aran played with determination in midfield, using Tom and Cole on the wings to pass the ball round. There were quite a few chances on goal, but only one managed to find the back of the net thanks to a superb effort from Joe.
All in all a super effort from the Tigers – you’re all starting to play beautiful football and long may it continue.
Man of the match could only go to one player -Kian. It was given not only for the hat trick he scored, but his overall effort in both games – well done Kian keep up the good work! Also, a quick congratulations to Iron Man Will for his first ever goal as a Tiger – May they all keep scoring goals and having fun 🙂
