After falling behind to a very fortunate goal Wyrley gradually increased the pressure on Burton in a very tight game. Justice was finally done in the last minute when a long throw into the box was headed home by Chan Clarke. The girls were rightfully delighted as not only had they snatched a pricelss point but it also pushed us to the top of the league!

Jess Arthur was fantastic in goal throughout and Keeley Dabbs headed countless balls away from dangerous Burton long throws. Another superb team effort girls – it will be tough next week with a few players missing but if you play like this we will take some beating!

Team: Jess Arthur, Cara Turner, Ellie Deakin, Ty Kent, Chloe Arthur, Kiera Turner, Emma Cartwright, Chan Clarke, Emily Scott, Keeley Dabbs, Chloe Andrea

Just a quick mention for our stand in money man Mr Mick Arthur – excellent handling with both hands – never dropped a penny all day! Keep it going Mick and you’ll be a certain starter on the next bag pack 🙂
