A tighter affair, but the Lions began brightly with some good attacking moves and it wasn’t long before the Ryan Wood started where he left off against Creswell. A shot just inside the area found the back of the net. Joshua Guest then went on a great run and fed the run of Ryan who again shot, but this time it was just over the cross bar. The opposition scored against the run of play but the Lions continued to forage and Owen Lloyd lifted a shot against the top of the cross bar and post. A slip up defensively meant another goal put the Lions behind in the game but the they weren’t deterred and continued to push forward. At bright finish to the game by the Lions didn’t bring any reward and at the final whistle the team felt a bit unlucky. Well done to everyone. Joshua Guest was voted Man of the match – Well done Josh!!
