Another hard fought game. Wyrley Wolves had plenty of chances as the ball was pushed forward from defence and midfield on numerous occasions but we didn’t seem to be able to finish.

Then the first goal came from some good link up play from the forwards. As Kyle found himself one on one with the keeper and squared the ball to Jacob, who found the back of the net.

The second goal came when Ben crossed a high ball in to the b0x to Kyle at the far post who put the ball away with a dubiously high foot, instead of his head?

The build up to the third goal showed some excellent passing between Nathan, Jimmy and Ben at the edge of the area, before Ben put in a superb cross to Kyle who headed it home.

Wyrley Lions can take pride in thier performance still battling away at 3-0 down. They roared back in the second half after a defensive error allowed them to score the first of their 2 goals.

I feel the sheer hard work and energy showed by Lucian, Jimmy and Nick also deserves a mention this week and didn’t go un-noticed. With spirit like that in the team, we can give Bustleholme a run for their money next week.

Man of the match : Nick
