Another great season has come to an end with the highlights summarised as follows: –

5 League Winners and 1 Cup Winner
2 League Runners Up and 5 Cup Runners Up,
Men First Team getting promotion to Level 7 of the Football Pyramid – the highest of any club in South Staffordshire despite what some websites say!
Ladies First team finishing 4th and Cup Runners Up at Level 5 of the Football Pyramid

but as usual, our great success was having 39 teams turning out in the black and white of Wyrley Juniors FC.

Off the field highlights included: –

The Club being voted Community Club of the Year by Staffordshire FA – the third time in 6 years.
The Club receiving an heraldic shield from Cheslyn Hay PC for its sporting achievement in the community.
15 players referred to Walsall FC and 5 taken on.
3 very well organised and attended Club Presentation Nights at Walsall FC – our thanks go to Trevor Smith for booking the venue.
Our best tournament yet – thanks go to the many, many individuals who helped to put the event on.

We had our share of sadness during the year and the Club will continue to remember Liam Keeling.
