Phew – another successful season has ended with the following the highlights: –

45 teams and 2 Academies – over 700 players! The largest Club in Staffordshire and probably the West Midlands Region.
Being awarded not only FA Charter Standard Community Club of Year for Staffordshire AND West Midlands Region BUT Nationally – top Club nationally!
The start and near completion of our 12 year vision – our Long Lane facility will be completed at the end of August at a cost of £1.15m
3 League Winners, 6 Runners Up, numerous top 3 places, 4 Cup Winners and a County Cup winner and numerous Runners Up. But the clear success, as usual, is getting 700 young (and not so young) people playing football in the black and white of Wyrley.

Our Academies going from strength to strength
Our Mens and Ladies First teams strengthening their positions
Securing main Club sponsorship from Asda Wolverhampton
Our annual tournament receiving plaudits for its excellence from many of the 170 teams attending.
4 very successful presentation nights at Banks’s Stadium, Walsall FC
Referring 15 players to Walsall FC

Aims for next season: –

46 teams now in place
Completion of pitchwork at Long Lane
Securing funding to start the development at Hazel Lane
