Well after 14 league games and 2 cup games Wyrley managed a clean sheet, the goals were impressive but a clean sheet is something to be proud of, well done girls.

With a 10 minute delay in kick off to help the sun defrost the last corner of the pitch, the Wyrley girls started the strongest and didn’t take long in scoring the 1st goal.  Kelly with a trademark burst down the right slotted the ball past the coundon keeper, 4mins 0-1.  Laurie, Tash, Sophie, Kelly and Leanne were all pressing hard for a 2nd, which came on 17mins from a run by Sophie, taking it round the defender and beating the keeper 0-2.  Lauren was called into action a few times but the defence of Jody, Hayley, Kirsty and Charlie held out pretty well, and Chelsea won the most headed balls in midfield.  24 mins gone when Laurie made a fine run through and hit the back of the net 0-3.  Pretty much end to end game plenty of good solid challenges going in form both sides, and on 37min Sophie latched on to Kellys cross and hit 1 in off the post 0-4.  Now i should point out that we were shooting down hill with the sun on our backs for this half but that wouldnt make us look as good.

2nd half started the same way 51mins Sophie with a fine solo effort rounded 2 defenders and put it the left side of the keeper 0-5, and im wondering if my pen will hold out with all the writing im having to do.   I neednt have worried as the rest of the game consisted of attack and counter attack, challenge after challenge, slipping in the mud, sliding past the ball and falling off the pitch by both sides, as the playing surface had turned into a giant mud slide, which i think most of the girls took advantage of.  It was with some relief for Leanne when she managed to get 1 on target past the keeper, 0-6 and full time. Well done girls Martin would have been very proud of you all.The Squid and the Whale full movie First Men in the Moon film Baraka dvdrip Sexy Beast trailer
