Walsall F.C. funday ?

by on Jan.03, 2009, under Walsall FC

Dear all, I would like to organize a funday at Walsall Football Club by way of a thankyou for their financial assistance. As you are aware Wyrley Juniors recently received a cheque from the F.A  for £1,500. Its also worthwhile remembering at this point that we received a cheque for the same amount this time last year – this is down to Walsall F.C. designating us as their favourite charity. We also have a pledge from them for £10,000 and this will be made available as soon as buildingwork starts on our new Clubhouse. Also please take into account the free facility of their Physios and their invitation for you to attend  training sessions for all age groups at their Centre of Excellence, thus giving you new and varied ideas in training. Overall my opinion is that we do very well out of Walsall F.C. and for this reason I would like to show our appreciation by giving them our support at one of their home games. If I get the interest from you I’m hoping for, I would like to book the Huddersfield game on SAT 18th April when Elain Dyson is there with 11s Panthers girls in their role as ballgirls on that day. From experience I know that Walsall F.C. will give us the best possible ticket deal. YOUR THOUGHTS AND IDEAS PLEASE.buy Jump! Necessary Evil video

    Trev,

I agree with you in that we have supported Walsall over the last 3 years by taking a contingent of Wyrley players, supporters, parents etc to one of their games. They are providing invaluable support to Wyrley and we should be responding accordingly. The date you suggest though is during Easter holidays – is this the best time?
