Wyrley pick up 3 at Staffordshire FA Charter Standard Awards!

The Club received more excellent recognition from the Football Association today.

Staffordshire FA presented awards in 7 categories at an Awards Lunch before the Port Vale and Aldershot game and the club was delighted to receive 2 of them.

Emily Quimby and Cath Davis, both aged 17 and who play for the Club’s Under 18s Girls team, won Young Volunteer of the Year awards for Staffordshire. This was great recognition for the girls. Both of them put themselves out to help coach younger club teams, referee and are heavily involved in the Sports leaders programme as well as putting many hours into the club. Well done girls!

Keith Hardy, Chairman of the Club, won the Staffordshire FA and West Midlands Regional award for Outstanding Contribution to Community Football.

Pictured below are pictures of Emily, Cath and Keith with their awards.
