Wyrley in the Community at Christmas

We are again looking to help those in need this Christmas.

The club is seeking help in the following areas – please, please do all that you can to help.

We are seeking donations of non perishable food items; food items such as Christmas puddings, cakes, alcohol; or cash donations (which will be used to buy more items).

Our Youth Committee will then make up hampers and deliver them to those locally who really are in need to make it feel like a better Christmas for them.
Remaining food items and cash will be donated between the three foodbanks at Cheslyn Hay, Essington ans Cannock.
Our Youth Committee will also stay in touch by regular telephone calls to those hamper recipients who are lonely and would welcome contact.

We are also looking for baskets/small hampers to be used to deliver the items in.
Very importantly, we are also looking for our followers to help us identify those locally who are really in need of a boost this Christmas. Please contact us with details of anyone you feel fits into this category.

In addition to the above, as usual, we are donating Christmas presents to children at local hospitals and a local refuge. We have 150 already donated via St. Luke’s Church in Cannock.

Please comment below or message if you can help us with donations or names.
Proud to be Wyrley. More than a football club!
