CHASETOWN 2 v 3 WYRLEY PUMAS
Heavy rain didn’t put a damper on this entertaining game, Pumas worked hard throughout this game, An Ilora Anderson shot went close after just a few minutes but shortly after Lucy Wells broke the deadlock for the Pumas crashing a shot into the roof of the Chasetown net, An improved Chasetown team worked hard to get back into this game and levelled the game to end the half all square. Pumas though in torrential rain played their best football of the match in the second half, Anderson going close again before man of the match Abi Hall lobbed the goalie from the edge of the box to put Pumas 2-1 up, this was just reward for she worked tirelessly all afternoon, alongside Jordan Parker, Karis Foreman, Abby Judson, Jaffa and Lauren Quinn whom all gave improved performances. A few minutes later and the tireless Anderson played a great through ball to put Wells away who coolly slotted her chance to put the Pumas 3-1 up. Lauren Manton was assured in the Pumas goal but Chasetown never gave up and they got another goal back near the end of this match to add some excitement to the last few minutes
