WYRLEY TIGERS 3 v 3 CANNOCK COLTS
This was an exciting game full of twists and turns and goal mouth incident, but not necessarily easy viewing for either manager, Tigers started the brighter and Josh Smith went close early on in this game before opening Wyrleys account from close range, Cannock bounced back and took their chance well from a corner a few minutes later. Wyrleys response was to profit from their own corner shortly after, when Sam Foreman met a rebound from his own corner to drive the ball home. Cannock pushed hard in the second half and some slick attacking play saw them go from one down to take the lead 3-2. Wyrley to their credit still pushed forward and capitalise on a defensive error when Smith hit his second to earn Wyrley a well deserved point. Wyrleys man of the match was Elliot Crook for his tireless work throughout this game.
WYRLEY TIGERS 1 v 0 APR
Wyrley had perhaps more possession in this game but APR had opportunities too during this game, Defences came out on top, Harry Simkin was reliable in the Wyrley goal, ably supported by Tom Peacock and man of the match Tom Rowlands in the Wyrley defence, after a goaless first half Wyrley pushed two up front and Duncan Reilly and Josh Smith were always a threat, a Reilly throw in found Smith who beat a defender before scoring the winning goal.
