WYRLEY TIGERS 1 v 1 HEDNESFORD HARRIERS
This was an exciting game between two evenly matched opponents, The game flowed from end to end from the kick off, Harry Simkin was excellent in the Tigers goal and Sam Foreman competed well in Midfield, Ben Southall and Elliot Crook were lively up front but it was man of the match Foreman who broke the deadlock with a shot from the edge of the box somehow finding its way into the net. The second half saw Harriers pressing hard for an equaliser, Tom Peacock,Tom Rowlands and William Meredith worked hard to repel there efforts, After a couple of goal mouth clearances by the Tigers, the unlucky Tom Rowlands was adjudged to have made contact with the Harriers forward to concede a penalty, Harriers dispatched the penalty to get a share of the spoils.

The Tigers worked hard with little reward in this encounter, Premier went in front when a ball bounced awkwardly in the box just clearing Harry Simkins finger tips in the Tigers goal. Tigers heads dipped a little but they still created a couple of chances, Ben Southall and Duncan Reilly both having shots at goal. The second half Tigers pushed for an equaliser but smart counter attacking football from Premier caught Tigers out and they went further ahead. Simkin made some great stops in the Tigers goal to earn him a deserved man of match award, Tigers unfortunately couldn’t finish in front of goal when in the last 5 minutes they had a few chances to test the Premier keeper.
