As promised at Monday’s meeting, here are the details for the charity abseil event.
The event will take place on Easter Sunday 12th April, it will start at 10a.m and last all day. Suchîmubôi video
We are looking for at least one person from each team to do a sponsored abseil, target amount £50, anymore would be great.
If you come along and are feeling brave, Abseils on the day will cost £10 per person.
We also have pie the manager, only 50p a vote……so all you manager’s best start being nice.
We will have a pick a straw stand, there are some great prizes to be won, Alton towers tickets, Dudley zoo tickets, Fairlawn’s meal vouchers and much much more.. Threads hd
We also have face painting for the younger children and hopefully a bouncy castle 🙂
And of course there will be a penalty shoot out with amazing Andy the clown in goal
There are also special cocktails on offer for the day, you can treat yourself to a Keith hardy, bill hicky or a roddy jones…….IF NOT YOU COULD ALWAYS GET YOURSELF A PINT FOR £1.50 🙂 at the wharf bar.
To open the event there will be four professional dancers from the university performing in the wyrley kit to a football song…..Any suggestions?????
There was allot of suggestions made at Mondays meeting which have been taken on board such as media coverage, street entertainment such as clowns etc….
we have already contacted bbc local, who have agreed to put us on their what’s on page and have passed our details on to the produces to see if they can send a news crew, so fingers crossed everyone. Also we’ve contacted beacon radio and galaxy to get us a mention as well as asking for the black thunder crew to attend Rollercoaster rip
