The u13s Panthers fell to their worst ever defeat,losing9-1 to apowerful silverdale side. After a good start taking an early lead through the tireless Liam Sandland.we should have gone 2 up,but after missing that chance,We gifted 3 goals to the opposition and completely change the coarse of the game.Admittedly it was hard work against massive opposition, who had 5 players ,who looked big enough for the u15s.But after they went 4-1 up on the stroke of half-time.The lads totally gave up,going through the motions in a 2nd half hammering. The only exceptions to this were Liam Sandland who worked like a trojan throughout ,Jordan Flaherty, who battled on gamely in the 2nd half and keeper Lee Payne, who did well, making one stunning save from a free kick. A harsh lesson learned today lads, however tough the game gets you should never throw the towel in.Now lets show some character and bounce back next week against Tipton
