Wyrley Colts Under 11s continued their winning ways with a 6-2 routing over rivals APR.
The match started with APR holding the Colts in their own third for the first 10 minutes, though the Colts showed real Wyrley spirit and came out all guns blazing.
With heavy rain and strong winds battering the pitch, Jake Powers lamped home his second consecutive hat trick and Sam Holdcroft slotting home the fourth.
APR nibbled Jack Parker twice in the box and the ref blew for a penalty – JP stepped up and hit home, though an encroachment saw the ref call him back to retake – which he obliged for the second time for number 5.
The sixth came from Sneaky striker Jamie Heston who’s sheer determination saw a goal line scramble and he hit the back of the net at the third time of asking.
